The work schedule for this position is : Full Time (40 hours per week).

DUTIES: The purpose of this position is to provide operational and technical support to the Millennium Challenge Corporation and Millennium Challenge Account – Niger, particularly with adhering to processes and policies, organization, planning, and prioritization. This position will provide quality control on critical documents that must come to MCC for approval. This person will be an excellent coordinator and communicator, ensuring that critical information is shared and streamlined across the many compact stakeholders.

EDUCATION: University degree from an internationally recognized university in business administration, political science, international relations, economics is required.

EXPERIENCE: 3 years minimum of relevant work experience. Relevant work experience includes work either in the public or private sectors including contract management, project management, quality control of documents and budgets, audit and compliance, drafting/editing technical documents, and any legal and/or procurement-related experience is required.

JOB KNOWLEDGE: Must have ability to read, write, and edit both French and English technical documents with extreme attention to detail. After onboarding, must have good knowledge of all relevant MCC standards and guidance, especially Accountable Guidelines. Should also become familiar with all MCA-Niger standards and processes, especially the approvals matrix, technical review guidance, the MCA-Niger board of directors bylaws, and the quarterly disbursement request process. Must become familiarized with Nigerien protocols and processes, and understand how to write for specific audiences. Must have a good understanding of the local culture while also striving to impart knowledge and build capacity around quality control issues.

LANGUAGE: Level IV speaking/reading/writing English is required. Level IV speaking/reading/writing French is required. These may be tested.
